Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a score of 71.3 against 58.1. Both of these devices use Android OS, but Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a more recent 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, so it provides the user a couple additional features. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact design is newer, thinner and a lot lighter than Galaxy Tab 8.9.
Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact counts with a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1920 x 1200 resolution and a much better display density. Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact counts with a very superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a GPU and a higher number of cores (and faster).
Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact shoots a lot better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality and a camera with a way higher resolution.
