Comparison review
Xperia Z4 Tablet is a lot better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, having a global score of 74.7 against 58.1. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z4 Tablet has the newer 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. The Xperia Z4 Tablet construction is lighter and incredibly thinner than the Galaxy Tab 8.9.
The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a very superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a 64-bits CPU, a graphics processor and 6 more cores. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a way greater pixels count per inch of display, a quite bigger display and a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560px.
Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a slightly better memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Xperia Z4 Tablet both feature really similar battery durations.
The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a lot better resolution back facing camera.
Although Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
