Comparison review
Asus VivoTab Smart is a little bit better than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, having a global score of 58.7 against 55.9. Both of these tablets use Windows OS (Operating System), but Asus VivoTab Smart has older 8 version and Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has Windows 8.1 version. The Asus VivoTab Smart design is just a little thicker and just a little bit heavier than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has a little sharper screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, although it has a just a bit worse quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a quite lower resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, they both have a same size screen. The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch counts with a little bit better memory to install games and applications than Asus VivoTab Smart, although it has less internal storage.

The Asus VivoTab Smart's battery performance is very similar to the battery duration in Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch.
The Asus VivoTab Smart takes clearer photographs and videos than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a camera in the back with a way better resolution.
Asus VivoTab Smart is more expensive than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
