Comparison review
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is just a bit better than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, getting a general score of 57.6 against 55.9. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, while Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch counts with Windows 8.1 OS. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a much newer tablet device, and it is also extremely lighter and somewhat thinner than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch.

Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a bit more expensive than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
