The Asus MeMO Pad 8 is way better than Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch, having a score of 60.1 against 47.3. Asus MeMO Pad 8's body is much thinner and a lot lighter than the Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 OS, and Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch has Windows 8.1 OS. Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a lot better hardware performance than Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 1 GB more RAM memory.
