Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab has a score of 58.6, which is way better than the Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch's 47.3 global score. The Galaxy Tab is a a little bit lighter but much thicker tablet than Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch. The Galaxy Tab comes with Android 2.3.3 operating system, while Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch counts with Windows 8.1 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with a very superior processor than Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch, although it has a lower amount of RAM and lesser cores. The Galaxy Tab and Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch have similar screens, although the Galaxy Tab has a bit smaller screen, a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024px and a little bit worse pixels amount per inch of screen.
Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch has a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab. Both have the same internal storage. Galaxy Tab features a much longer battery duration than Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch. The Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab, because it has a way higher (Full HD) video definition and a lot better 5 MP resolution camera in the back.
The Galaxy Tab costs a bit more than the Toshiba Encore 2 8-inch, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
