Acer Iconia W4's construction is a bit lighter and a little bit thinner than Toshiba Encore. Toshiba Encore has just a bit better screen than Acer Iconia W4. They have the same screen density, the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution and a display with the same size.
The Acer Iconia W4 counts with a very superior storage to install applications and games than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage.
