Comparison review
The Acer Predator 8 is a bit better than the Toshiba Encore, with a 57.7 score against 56.2. Acer Predator 8 is a thinner and notably lighter tablet than Toshiba Encore. Acer Predator 8 works with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, while Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1 operating system. Toshiba Encore has just a bit better screen than Acer Predator 8, although it has a lot worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a way worse amount of pixels in each inch of screen, they both have a display with the same size.
The Acer Predator 8 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Toshiba Encore. Both have equal internal storage capacity. Toshiba Encore counts with a little faster CPU than Acer Predator 8. They have a Quad-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount.
The Toshiba Encore has a bit better camera than Acer Predator 8, because it has a much higher 8 mega pixels resolution back facing camera. Acer Predator 8 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Toshiba Encore.
Although Acer Predator 8 is a better device, it is more expensive than Toshiba Encore, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Toshiba Encore. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Acer Predator 8, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Toshiba Encore, letting go some features and specifications.
