The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is much better than the Toshiba Encore, getting a global score of 62.5 against 56.2. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 design is noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner than Toshiba Encore. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10 OS, while Toshiba Encore counts with Windows 8.1 OS. Toshiba Encore counts with a brighter display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2. They have the same display pixels density, a screen of the same size and the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a bit faster processor than Toshiba Encore, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
