Comparison review
Alcatel PLUS 12 has a global score of 58.9, which is slightly better than Toshiba Encore's 56.2 overall score. Both of these tablets use Windows OS (Operating System), but the Alcatel PLUS 12 has 10 version while Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1 version, so it gives you lots of additional features. Alcatel PLUS 12's design is a lot thinner but much heavier than the Toshiba Encore.
The Toshiba Encore has a brighter screen than Alcatel PLUS 12, although it has a way worse 800 x 1280 resolution, a really smaller screen and a little lower display pixel density. The Alcatel PLUS 12 has just a little better hardware performance than Toshiba Encore, because although it has 2 lesser cpu cores , it also counts with more RAM memory.
The Toshiba Encore shoots much better pictures and videos than Alcatel PLUS 12. The Alcatel PLUS 12 counts with a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Toshiba Encore, because it has 32 GB more internal storage. Alcatel PLUS 12 features a way better battery lifetime than Toshiba Encore.
