Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 3 has a score of 66.3, which is better than the Toshiba Encore's 56.2 global score. The Microsoft Surface 3 body is thinner but a lot heavier than the Toshiba Encore. The Toshiba Encore has a more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a just a little worse count of pixels per display inch, a lot lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a really smaller screen.
The Toshiba Encore has a bit better CPU than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Microsoft Surface 3 features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage.
The Microsoft Surface 3 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Toshiba Encore. Both of them have a back facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels resolution. Toshiba Encore and Microsoft Surface 3 have incredibly similar batteries performance.
Microsoft Surface 3 costs a lot more money than the Toshiba Encore, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
