Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 9 Pro is a little bit better than the Toshiba Encore, with a 58.7 score against 56.2. The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro comes with Windows operating system, and Toshiba Encore works with Windows 8.1 operating system. The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro is a a lot heavier but thinner tablet than Toshiba Encore.
Toshiba Encore features an extremely better CPU than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, because although it has 6 GB less RAM, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores. Toshiba Encore counts with a sharper display than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, although it has a much smaller display, a much worse count of pixels in each display inch and a lot worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.
Toshiba Encore captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, although it has a back camera with a lower resolution. The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro counts with a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage.
The Toshiba Encore and the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro feature really similar battery performance.
