Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Go is much better than Toshiba Encore, with a 66.5 score against 56.2. The Microsoft Surface Go is a heavier but incredibly thinner tablet than Toshiba Encore. These devices use Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Go has a newer 10 version while Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1 version.
Toshiba Encore has a bit better processing unit than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores. Toshiba Encore features a better screen than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a much lower 800 x 1280 resolution, a quite lower amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a much smaller display.
Microsoft Surface Go has a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Microsoft Surface Go features a battery performance that is very similar to the battery performance in Toshiba Encore.
Microsoft Surface Go takes a bit better videos and photos than Toshiba Encore. They have a 8 MP back-facing camera.
The Microsoft Surface Go costs a lot more money than the Toshiba Encore, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
