Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a global score of 72.2, which is much better than the Toshiba Encore's global score of 56.2. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's body is somewhat thinner but much heavier than Toshiba Encore. These devices have Windows operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a more recent 8.1 Pro version and Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1.
Toshiba Encore features a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a quite lower pixels number in each inch of screen, a way worse 800 x 1280 resolution and a really smaller screen. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more storage to store more apps and games than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Toshiba Encore counts with just a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with 2 more cpu cores. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a battery duration that's very similar to Toshiba Encore's battery lifetime. The Toshiba Encore captures clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because it has a lot more megapixels back camera.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is way more expensive than the Toshiba Encore, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
