Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a score of 81.5, which is much better than the Toshiba Encore's 56.2 general score. Both tablets in this review have Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a newer 10 version while Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1, providing lots of additional features and performance enhancements. Microsoft Surface Pro 6's design is notably heavier but a lot thinner than Toshiba Encore.
The Toshiba Encore features just a bit better screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a lot worse pixels density, a lot lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a really smaller display. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 counts with a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a bit superior processing unit than Toshiba Encore, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 also has a greater amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has just a bit better camera than Toshiba Encore. Both of them have the same resolution back-facing camera.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6's battery lifetime is very similar to the Toshiba Encore one.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 costs a lot more than the Toshiba Encore, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
