The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a global score of 66.9, which is better than the Toshiba Encore's overall score of 56.2. Both devices in this comparison review work with Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a newer 10 version and Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1, giving some extra features. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a extremely heavier but incredibly thinner device than Toshiba Encore.
Toshiba Encore counts with just a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a lot worse 800 x 1280 resolution, a lot lower quantity of pixels in each inch in the display and a much smaller screen. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a bit faster CPU than Toshiba Encore, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with 2 GB more RAM.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Toshiba Encore. Both of them have a same resolution back-facing camera.
