Comparison review
Microsoft Surface RT has a global score of 58.4, which is a bit better than Toshiba Encore's 56.2 overall score. The Microsoft Surface RT is a incredibly heavier but thinner tablet than the Toshiba Encore. Both tablets we compare here include Windows operating system, but the Microsoft Surface RT has a newer RT version and Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1 version.
Toshiba Encore and Microsoft Surface RT both have really similar processors, and although the Microsoft Surface RT has an additional graphics processing unit, they both have a Quad-Core processor and 2 GB of RAM memory. Toshiba Encore has a more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a quite lower 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a higher display pixel density.
The Microsoft Surface RT counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface RT and Toshiba Encore feature extremely similar batteries performance.
Toshiba Encore has a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a camera with a much higher resolution.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Microsoft Surface RT is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes buying this tablet an easy decision.
