The Nokia N1 has a global score of 66, which is better than Toshiba Encore's 56.2 score. The Nokia N1 is a noticeably lighter and noticeably thinner device than the Toshiba Encore. Nokia N1 has Android 5.0 OS, and Toshiba Encore counts with Windows 8.1 OS. The Nokia N1 features a quite superior hardware performance than Toshiba Encore, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Nokia N1 also has a 64 bits CPU and an additional graphics processor.

Nokia N1 counts with a much better screen than Toshiba Encore, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Nokia N1 features a little bit better camera than Toshiba Encore. Both of them have a same resolution camera in the back.

Nokia N1's memory for games and applications is very similar to Toshiba Encore's one, and although the Nokia N1 has no external memory card slot, they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Nokia N1 counts with a much longer battery performance than Toshiba Encore.

Nokia N1 costs a lot more money than Toshiba Encore, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
