The Galaxy Tab E is a little bit better than the Toshiba Encore, getting a general score of 60.7 against 56.2. Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4 OS, while Toshiba Encore comes with Windows 8.1 OS. Galaxy Tab E is a thinner but just a little bit heavier device than the Toshiba Encore. The Toshiba Encore features just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Toshiba Encore also has more RAM memory.

Toshiba Encore counts with a much better screen than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280px resolution, the Toshiba Encore also counts with a little bit higher pixels amount in each display inch. Toshiba Encore has a little bit more storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E shoots clearer photographs and videos than Toshiba Encore, although it has a back-facing camera with a way lower 5 mega-pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab E features a way better battery lifetime than Toshiba Encore.
