The Galaxy Tab S3 has a global score of 75.2, which is much better than Toshiba Encore's general score of 56.2. The Galaxy Tab S3 design is extremely thinner and just a little lighter than the Toshiba Encore. Galaxy Tab S3 works with Android 9.0 Pie OS, and Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1 OS. The Toshiba Encore counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, although it has a way worse screen density, a little bit smaller display and a way lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features just a little better performance than Toshiba Encore, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 also has more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Toshiba Encore. Both of them have the same 32 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features a much longer battery lifetime than Toshiba Encore. Galaxy Tab S3 takes greater photographs and videos than Toshiba Encore, because it has a back facing camera with a way better resolution.
The Galaxy Tab S3 costs a bit more than Toshiba Encore, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
