The Sony Tablet S has a score of 57.5, which is a bit better than Toshiba Encore's score of 56.2. The Sony Tablet S is a a little bit thinner but much heavier tablet than the Toshiba Encore. Sony Tablet S comes with Android 4.0 OS, and Toshiba Encore comes with Windows 8.1 OS. Toshiba Encore counts with a much better display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Toshiba Encore also counts with a little bit higher number of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Sony Tablet S features a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Toshiba Encore. Both have equal 32 GB internal storage. The Toshiba Encore has a quite superior processing power than Sony Tablet S, because it has more processing cores and more RAM memory. The Sony Tablet S captures clearer videos and photos than Toshiba Encore, although it has a camera with much less MP.
Sony Tablet S counts with a much longer battery life than Toshiba Encore.
