Comparison review

Sony Vaio Tap 11 is much better than Toshiba Encore, having a general score of 66 against 56.2. Both tablets we are comparing come with Windows OS, but Sony Vaio Tap 11 has 8 version while Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1. Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a heavier but a little bit thinner device than Toshiba Encore.

The Toshiba Encore counts with a bit faster CPU than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster). Sony Vaio Tap 11 and Toshiba Encore count with similar screens, although the Sony Vaio Tap 11 also has a quite greater pixel amount in each inch of screen, a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a lot bigger screen.

Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a superior storage to store more apps and games than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Toshiba Encore captures clearer photographs and videos than Sony Vaio Tap 11. Both have the same resolution camera in the back.

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a much longer battery life than Toshiba Encore.

Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Toshiba Encore, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Toshiba Encore. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Vaio Tap 11, else you can save some money and get the Toshiba Encore, letting go a couple specs and features.
