The Xperia Tablet Z is much better than the Toshiba Encore, having a global score of 68.5 against 56.2. The Xperia Tablet Z comes with Android 4.4.4 OS, while Toshiba Encore comes with Windows 8.1 OS. The Xperia Tablet Z is a just a little heavier but incredibly thinner device than the Toshiba Encore.
Xperia Tablet Z counts with a slightly better display than Toshiba Encore, because it has a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution, a bit higher quantity of pixels per screen inch and a larger screen. The Xperia Tablet Z counts with a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Toshiba Encore. Both have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
