The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a general score of 58, which is much better than the Toshiba Excite 10 LE's overall score of 51.2. Although the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is thicker than Toshiba Excite 10 LE, it's notably lighter and a lot newer. These devices work with Android OS, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a more recent 4.2.2 version while Toshiba Excite 10 LE has Android 3.2 version, so it gives a couple additional features and performance tweaks.
