Toshiba Excite 10 LE is a mid-end Android tablet launched in September 2011, provisioned with a large 10.1-inches screen, a fast 1200 MHz Dual-Core processor, and 2 cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera.
Toshiba didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 19.68 oz device. The Toshiba Excite 10 LE is just 0.3" thick, taking it to the thinnest tablet's category. This tablet is quite a compact tablet, taking into account that it has a 10.1" display and it has just 10.08 inches long.
Toshiba decided to power this tablet with a TI OMAP4430 system chip, backed up by a good performance Dual-Core processing unit ticking at 1200 megahertz with 1 GB of RAM memory. This tablet counts with a big 32 GB internal storage memory and a slot for an external memory card, allowing you to install hundreds of apps and even the largest games available nowadays without worrying about running out of space.
This tablet includes a good 10.1" display with a 800 x 1280 resolution, which makes everything look quite colorful and brightful.
The Toshiba Excite 10 LE has wifi connection (but it can't be shared with other devices acting as a modem). This tablet doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM services.
The Toshiba Excite 10 LE features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2 megapixels front camera. It is capable of shooting videos in Full HD 1920x1080. Additionally, the camera features flash and auto-focus.
The Toshiba Excite 10 LE also comes with some nice characteristics such as Bluetooth (2.1) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
This tablet is very expensive considering it costs 100 dollars, and many similar tablets are being sold for much less than that.
