Comparison review
Alcatel JOY TAB has a score of 59.4, which is just a bit better than the Toshiba Excite 13's 55.4 general score. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Alcatel JOY TAB has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0 version, so it offers some nice extra features and better performance. Alcatel JOY TAB's body is a lot newer, noticeably lighter and thinner than the Toshiba Excite 13.
The Toshiba Excite 13 has a bit more vivid display than Alcatel JOY TAB, because although it has a way worse count of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 900 x 1600px and a way bigger display. Alcatel JOY TAB features a little bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Toshiba Excite 13, although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity.
The Toshiba Excite 13 and the Alcatel JOY TAB have incredibly similar CPUs, and although the Alcatel JOY TAB has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have 4 processing cores. Alcatel JOY TAB features a superior camera than Toshiba Excite 13. Both of them have a camera in the back with a 5 MP, the same (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates.
The Alcatel JOY TAB has a much better battery life than Toshiba Excite 13.
