Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 67.9, which is a lot better than Toshiba Excite 13's 55.4 general score. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's body is incredibly newer, noticeably thinner and incredibly lighter than the Toshiba Excite 13. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a newer 4.4 version while Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0, so it offers some extra features and improved performance.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a little faster processing unit than Toshiba Excite 13, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has more RAM. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much better display than Toshiba Excite 13, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and way more pixels per inch in the display.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 captures better photographs and videos than Toshiba Excite 13, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a camera with much more megapixels. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 and Toshiba Excite 13 count with really similar storage capacity for games and applications, and although the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has no external memory card slot, they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
The Toshiba Excite 13 and the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 feature incredibly similar battery durations.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is also a lot cheaper.
