Comparison review
Microsoft Surface RT is slightly better than the Toshiba Excite 13, with a overall score of 58.4 against 55.4. The Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT OS, while Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0 OS. The Microsoft Surface RT body is incredibly lighter and just a bit thinner than the Toshiba Excite 13, even when both were released with only a couple of months difference.
Microsoft Surface RT counts with a bit faster processing unit than Toshiba Excite 13, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Microsoft Surface RT also has more RAM and an extra graphics processing unit. Toshiba Excite 13 has a little bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 900 x 1600px and a larger screen.
Microsoft Surface RT's storage capacity to store more apps and games is very similar to Toshiba Excite 13's one, and although the Microsoft Surface RT has no external memory card slot, they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Toshiba Excite 13 features a way better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Toshiba Excite 13 also has a way better resolution back facing camera.
The Microsoft Surface RT and Toshiba Excite 13 both count with very similar batteries.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Microsoft Surface RT is also by far the cheapest one.
