Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 7 is much better than Toshiba Excite 13, getting a 64.9 score against 55.4. Samsung ATIV Tab 7's construction is somewhat lighter but thicker than the Toshiba Excite 13, and they were only released with a couple of months difference. Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has Windows 8 operating system, and Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0 operating system.
The Toshiba Excite 13 has a bit better screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has way lesser pixels per inch of display and a bit lower resolution of 900 x 1600, it also counts with a little larger screen. The Toshiba Excite 13 features a way better hardware performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 counts with a camera that's just as good as the camera in Toshiba Excite 13, both of them have a 5 MP resolution camera. Samsung ATIV Tab 7 counts with a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Toshiba Excite 13, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory.
Samsung ATIV Tab 7's battery performance is very similar to the Toshiba Excite 13 one.
