Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an overall score of 68.7, which is way better than the Toshiba Excite 13's 55.4 general score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a newer tablet, and it's also extremely lighter and way thinner than the Toshiba Excite 13. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a more recent 4.2.2 version while Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0 version.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has just a little better processing power than Toshiba Excite 13, because although it has a lower number of cores, it also counts with a graphics processor and a greater amount of RAM. Toshiba Excite 13 has a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a much lower amount of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a really bigger screen and a better 900 x 1600 resolution.
