The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a lot better than the Toshiba Excite 13, getting a overall score of 67.8 against 55.4. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0 version, so it provides you some additional features and performance enhancements. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a newer tablet, and it is also a lot thinner and lighter than the Toshiba Excite 13.

The Toshiba Excite 13 and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 both feature extremely similar screens, because although the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a bit worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better screen density. The Toshiba Excite 13 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's CPU is very similar to the processing unit in Toshiba Excite 13, and although the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a larger amount of RAM and a GPU, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a way better battery performance than Toshiba Excite 13.

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Toshiba Excite 13, although it has a lot less mega-pixels back facing camera and a lot worse video definition.
