Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active is much better than the Toshiba Excite 13, getting a global score of 67 against 55.4. The Galaxy Tab Active is a newer tablet, and it is also noticeably lighter and just a little bit thinner than Toshiba Excite 13. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Active has 4.4 version while Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0 version.
Galaxy Tab Active and Toshiba Excite 13 count with very similar CPUs, and although the Galaxy Tab Active has a higher amount of RAM memory and an extra GPU, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit. Galaxy Tab Active has a slightly better looking screen than Toshiba Excite 13, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a little worse 1280 x 800 resolution, it also counts with a greater screen pixels density.
Toshiba Excite 13 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a much better battery lifetime than Toshiba Excite 13.
Galaxy Tab Active counts with a slightly better camera than Toshiba Excite 13, although it has a back-facing camera with a way worse 3.1 mega-pixels resolution and a much lower 1280x720 (HD) video quality.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy Tab Active is also by far the cheapest one.
