Comparison review
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is a little bit better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7, having a overall score of 58 against 53.1. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a newer 4.2.2 version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0 version. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's design is newer and much lighter, but also somewhat thicker than the Toshiba Excite 7.7.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a better processor than Toshiba Excite 7.7, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has 1 GB more RAM and an additional graphics co-processor. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a much more vibrant screen than Toshiba Excite 7.7, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher count of pixels per inch of display and a much higher 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution.
Toshiba Excite 7.7 takes much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with as much memory capacity for applications and games as the Toshiba Excite 7.7, and although the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has no SD card slot, they both have exactly the same internal storage.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's battery lifetime is just as good as the Toshiba Excite 7.7 one.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it an obvious call.
