Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a global score of 58.6, which is slightly better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7's global score of 54.2. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) construction is noticeably newer and a little bit lighter, but also noticeably thicker than Toshiba Excite 7.7. Both devices we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0, so it offers some nice extra features and performance enhancements.
