Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 67.9, which is much better than Toshiba Excite 7.7's 54.2 score. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 construction has the same thickness than Toshiba Excite 7.7, but it is a little lighter. These devices work with Android OS, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has newer 4.4 version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0 version.
