Comparison review
Asus MeMO Pad 8 is much better than Toshiba Excite 7.7, having a 61.2 score against 54.2. Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a noticeably newer tablet, and it is also much lighter and just a bit thinner than Toshiba Excite 7.7. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS, but Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a newer 4.4 version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0 version, giving some extra features.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a bit faster processor than Toshiba Excite 7.7, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 1 GB more RAM memory.
