Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is a lot better than Toshiba Excite 7.7, getting a 66.7 score against 54.2. Although it's the best tablet device in this review, the Samsung Ativ Tab body is a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than the Toshiba Excite 7.7. Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT OS, while Toshiba Excite 7.7 works with Android 4.0 OS.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has just a bit better processing power than Toshiba Excite 7.7, because although it has a lower number of cores, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a greater amount of RAM. The Toshiba Excite 7.7 has a sharper display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a little worse 720 x 1280px resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better number of pixels in each inch of display.
Toshiba Excite 7.7 and Samsung Ativ Tab both have extremely similar cameras, both have the same video frame rates, the same (HD) video quality and a 5 MP resolution back-facing camera. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Toshiba Excite 7.7, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Toshiba Excite 7.7.
Samsung Ativ Tab costs more than the Toshiba Excite 7.7, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
