Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a score of 66.3, which is much better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7's score of 54.2. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1's body is thicker and heavier than Toshiba Excite 7.7. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a newer 4.4 version and Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0 version, giving you a couple additional features and some performance improvements.
Toshiba Excite 7.7 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a much smaller screen and a little bit worse resolution of 720 x 1280px, it also counts with a greater pixels amount per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Toshiba Excite 7.7, because it has 32 GB more internal storage.
The Toshiba Excite 7.7 has a bit superior processor than Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Quad-Core CPU. The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a really longer battery duration than Toshiba Excite 7.7. The Toshiba Excite 7.7 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Note 10.1. They have the same 1280x720 video resolution, the same video frame rate and a same resolution camera.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is also cheaper.
