Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has an overall score of 65, which is much better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7's 54.2 general score. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has newer 4.1 version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) body is much thicker and much heavier than the Toshiba Excite 7.7.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s processor is just as good as the Toshiba Excite 7.7 one, because although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a lower number of cores, and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Toshiba Excite 7.7 has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a really smaller display and a little lower 720 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a better pixels density.
The Toshiba Excite 7.7 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Toshiba Excite 7.7 also has a lot better resolution camera. Toshiba Excite 7.7 features a bit bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a much longer battery life than Toshiba Excite 7.7.
