The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a global score of 68.7, which is way better than Toshiba Excite 7.7's overall score of 54.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's body is newer, somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner than Toshiba Excite 7.7. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a newer 4.2.2 version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0, so it provides some extra features.
