Comparison review
Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids is a little bit better than Toshiba Excite 7.7, getting a 57.5 score against 54.2. Although the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids is much thicker than the Toshiba Excite 7.7, it's noticeably lighter and newer. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has newer 4.1 version and Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0, offering a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.
Toshiba Excite 7.7 features a bit better processing unit than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Toshiba Excite 7.7 also has a larger number of cores (and faster). Toshiba Excite 7.7 has a little bit better screen than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a little bit higher pixel quantity in each inch of display, a higher 720 x 1280 resolution and a little bigger screen.
Toshiba Excite 7.7 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a much higher 5 MP resolution back facing camera. The Toshiba Excite 7.7 has a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a really longer battery performance than Toshiba Excite 7.7.
Even being the best tablet in our comparison, the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it an obvious call.
