Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a lot better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7, having a score of 74.5 against 54.2. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0 version, giving a couple additional features. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 body is notably newer, but just a little thicker and much heavier than the Toshiba Excite 7.7.
