Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) is much better than Toshiba Excite 7.7, with a global score of 60.4 against 54.2. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0, so it provides some additional features and some performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) design is noticeably newer and way lighter than the Toshiba Excite 7.7's, but it is thicker.

The Toshiba Excite 7.7 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core CPU. Toshiba Excite 7.7 features a much better screen than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a little bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a little lower 720 x 1280px resolution, it also counts with a little bit larger display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with slightly more memory for applications and games than Toshiba Excite 7.7, although it has only 8 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) captures much better pictures and videos than Toshiba Excite 7.7. They have the same video frame rates, the same video definition and a camera in the back with a 5 MP resolution.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a much longer battery duration than Toshiba Excite 7.7.
