Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7, getting a 62.8 score against 54.2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a newer device, and it's also somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than Toshiba Excite 7.7. Both devices we are comparing here work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a newer 7.1 Nougat version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and performance enhancements.
Toshiba Excite 7.7 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 4 processing cores. The Toshiba Excite 7.7 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 720 x 1280 and a just a little more pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a greater memory to install applications and games than Toshiba Excite 7.7, although it has only 16 GB internal storage. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a camera that's very similar to Toshiba Excite 7.7's camera, both of them have the same video frame rates, the same video definition and the same resolution back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a much longer battery lifetime than Toshiba Excite 7.7.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making it a great choice.
