Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a general score of 59.7, which is a little bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's global score of 57.6. These devices use Android OS, but the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it provides a couple nice extra features and improved performance. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is a a lot newer tablet than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it is somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier.
