Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, getting a 67.9 score against 57.6. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.4 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's body is just a little thinner than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it is a little heavier and was released 2 years before.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a better display than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a little bit greater pixel density, a better resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a quite bigger screen. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a greater storage to store more apps and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
