Comparison review
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a global score of 68.5 against 57.6. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the older 4.2.2 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's body has the same thickness than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's somewhat heavier.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with just a little better processing power than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor.
