Comparison review
The Asus ZenPad Z8s is a little bit better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a score of 62.6 against 57.6. Even though Asus ZenPad Z8s and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD were only released 9 months apart, Asus ZenPad Z8s is thinner and somewhat lighter. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ZenPad Z8s has a more recent 7.0 Nougat version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it provides the user some additional features and enhanced performance.
The Asus ZenPad Z8s counts with a bit better processing unit than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both of them have a 3 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. Asus ZenPad Z8s features a bit sharper screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite better quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a bit higher resolution of 1536 x 2048.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a very superior camera than Asus ZenPad Z8s, although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution back camera. The Asus ZenPad Z8s's storage for games and applications is just as good as the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD one, both have an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB and equal 16 GB internal memory.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features just a little bit longer battery life than Asus ZenPad Z8s, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
