The Huawei MateBook is a lot better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a 70.7 score against 57.6. Even though Huawei MateBook and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD were only released with a couple of months difference, Huawei MateBook's design is way heavier but also thinner.
