Comparison review
Huawei MediaPad M2 is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, getting a 65.5 score against 57.6. Both devices we compare here have Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad M2 has the previous 5.1 Lollipop version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Huawei MediaPad M2 body has the same thickness than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it is a little bit lighter.
Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a bit sharper display than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. They have a display with the same size, the same screen density and exactly the same resolution of 1200 x 1920. The Huawei MediaPad M2 features a much better memory for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 has a bit faster processor than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both of them have 8 cores and the same RAM amount. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a bit longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M2, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD shoots way better videos and photos than Huawei MediaPad M2. Both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rate.
